Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida .SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough extends from near 29N77W to the NW Bahamas and to central Cuba while a weak mid to upper level trough is in the vicinity of South Florida. These features in combination with a very moist and unstable environment are inducing scattered showers and thunderstorms over over the offshore waters of South Florida to the waters surrounding the NW and Central Bahamas. Fresh to strong winds will pulse tonight offshore Hispaniola. E swell producing seas to 9 ft east of the southeastern Bahamas to near 65W will slowly subside through early Sun. The Bermuda high will build southwestward toward central florida over the next several days. An area of numerous showers and thunderstorms is S of 24N between 65W and 75W.
