Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will remain in place from the eastern U.S.
across the eastern Gulf waters through Sat allowing for gentle
to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.

.TODAY...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from just west of Bermuda to near
Fort Pierce, Florida, displacing the Atlantic ridge farther to
the east, supporting light to gentle breezes and slight seas. The
trough will shift north of the area today, allowing the ridge to 
build westward from the central Atlantic to central Florida.
Looking ahead, winds and seas may increase by this weekend as a vigorous
tropical wave moves into the region. There is some potential for 
a tropical depression to form late this week in the vicinity of 
the Bahamas. 

.TODAY...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
