Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge will remain in place from the
southeastern U.S. across the eastern Gulf waters into Sat
allowing for gentle to moderate winds and slight to moderate
seas. Looking ahead, a tropical wave moving across the eastern 
Caribbean will impact portions of the southeast Gulf and Straits 
of Florida with active weather Sat through Sun, and a tropical 
depression could form there although there is uncertainty 
regarding the specific location and timing. Marine interests in 
the eastern Gulf should monitor the latest outlooks from the 
National Weather Service accordingly.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extends from Bermuda to Cape
Canaveral, Florida. Fresh winds, rough seas and numerous squalls
extend from the NE Caribbean to north of Puerto Rico, on the
north side of a  tropical wave moving through the eastern
Caribbean. The tropical  wave and attendant winds, seas and
weather will shift across the  waters to the north of Hispaniola
through Thu. A trough will  continue to move west- northwest
across the Bahamas Thu night  through Fri night, then continue
west- northwest Sat and Sun and  impact portions of the Straits
of Florida, South Florida and the  SE Gulf of Mexico. There is
some potential for a tropical  depression to form this weekend
across that area.

27N. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
