Maximum sustained winds are 30 kt with gusts to 40 kt, and the minimum central pressure is 996 mb. Francine will become extratropical and move to 34.3N 90.1W this evening, 35.3N 90.6W Fri morning, 35.9N 90.6W Fri evening, and dissipate Sat morning. Remnant outer winds and seas in the NE Gulf associated with Francine will diminish and subside through late this afternoon. Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida .SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from near Bermuda to 30N73W to NE Florida near 29N81W will continue to support moderate to fresh NE to E winds and seas up to 8 ft north of it and over the northern Florida offshore waters. The front will retreat northward as a warm and stall along 31N through the end of the week. In a few days, a non-tropical area of low pressure could form along the residual frontal boundary. Thereafter, some subtropical or tropical development is possible during the early part of next week while the system drifts to the north or northwest. Regardless of development, increasing winds and building seas will impact the waters near 31N by the end of the weekend into early next week.
