The front will reach the Florida Straits and the Yucatan Peninsula this evening and then stall tonight along the Yucatan Channel through Fri before dissipating Sat. Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida .SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 30N75W to just south of Cape Canaveral, Florida near 28N81W is followed by fresh to strong northerly winds that are affecting the NE and central Florida coastal and adjacent offshore waters. The front will reach from 31N74W SW to the Straits of Florida this evening with fresh to strong northerly winds and rough seas extending to the southern Florida coastal and offshore waters as well as the northern Bahamas offshore waters. The front will reach from 31N68W to the central Bahamas by Thu morning while its tail stalls along the Florida Straits and the Yucatan Channel. By Fri morning the front will move E of Bermuda and winds over the northern offshore waters will start to diminish. Invest AL94 is forecast to move to the offshore waters N of Puerto Rico by Fri evening and N of the Dominican Rep on Sat before merging with the remnants of the front Sat night.
