Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front reaching from Port Charlotte, Florida
to near Brownsville, Texas will dissipate over the Gulf later
today. High pressure building north of the front over the
southeastern United States will maintain fresh to strong SE
return flow over the western Gulf into tonight, accompanied by
rough seas and numerous showers and thunderstorms. Looking
ahead, a weak cold front will reach the northern Gulf coast Thu,
stall across the central Gulf by late Fri before dissipating

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate NW winds and seas follow a leading cold 
front reaching from 31N55W to NW Hispaniola. A second, 
reinforcing cold front, reaches from 31N68W across the northern
Bahamas to S Florida. Fresht to locally strong N to NW winds and
moderate to rough seas are ongoing west of this front to 74W and
N of 26N. The fronts will merge and reach from 31N52W to north- 
central Hispaniola late today, then stall and dissipate west off 
55W through Thu. High pressure building in behind the front will 
continue to support strong NE winds south of 24N, offshore 
Hispaniola and eastern Cuba through early Thu morning. Looking 
ahead, the next cold front will move into the waters off northeast
Florida late Thu into Fri, bringing large NW swell to the waters 
between northeast Florida and Bermuda north of 28N through Sun. 

.TODAY...NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. N of 27N, NE to E
winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SE to S 5 to 10 kt after midnight.
