.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through Fri
supporting light to gentle winds and slight seas over the
eastern half of the Gulf, and gentle to moderate winds and
slight to moderate seas across the western half of the basin.
Looking ahead, wind and seas may increase over the SW Gulf
during the upcoming weekend as a strong tropical wave, with some
potential of tropical cyclone development reaches the area.  

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TODAY...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft after midnight. 
.FRI...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
