.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge will remain in place over the N Gulf
waters into Sat morning allowing for gentle to moderate winds
for most of the Gulf of Mexico. Looking ahead, a tropical wave 
moving across the central Caribbean will impact portions of the 
SE Gulf and Straits of Florida with active weather Sat through 
Sun. A tropical depression is likely to form this weekend or 
early next week over the E Gulf of Mexico near the Florida 
Peninsula. 

Northwest Gulf of Mexico

.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 5 kt, shifting to NE in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT NIGHT...W winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SW after midnight.
