.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Louisiana to near Tampico,
Mexico. The front will shift eastward over the next couple of
days, then will stall and dissipate from south Florida to 22N91W
to the Bay of Campeche this weekend. Moderate to fresh winds
west of the front will strengthen over the SW Gulf west of the
front today, with winds briefly increasing to minimal gale force
off Veracruz early this evening. Locally very rough seas will
accompany these winds. High pressure will build in the wake of
the front, supporting gentle to moderate winds and slight to
moderate seas across the Gulf this weekend into early next week.
