Offshore Waters Forecast for the SW N Atlantic from 19N to 31N W
of 55W including Bahamas.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...An elongated area of low pressure offshore the 
southeastern U.S coast is producing a large area of disorganized 
showers and thunderstorms. Despite strong upper-level winds, some 
gradual development is possible while the system moves northeastward
offshore of the southeastern U.S. coast during the next day or 
so. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are associated with this
system impacting mainly the waters N of 27N and W of 74W. Gusty
winds, higher seas and frequent lightning will be associated with
this convective activity forecast to persist through at least 
Fri. Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected over the western
Atlantic ahead of this system during the next couple of days. As 
the low pressure departs, high pressure will build southward over 
the western Atlantic beginning this weekend and into early next 
week.
