542 ABNT20 KNHC 112308 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Tue Jun 11 2024 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: Eastern Gulf of Mexico and Offshore Southeast U.S. (AL90): A broad and elongated area of low pressure near the west-central coast of Florida is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. This system is expected to move northeastward across Florida tonight and move offshore of the U.S. Southeast coast by late Wednesday. Although upper-level winds are expected to be only marginally conducive, some slow development is possible while the system moves offshore of the U.S. Southeast coast. Regardless of development, heavy rainfall is expected to continue across portions of the Florida peninsula during the next few days.
