WEST OF THE ALABAMA-MISSISSIPPI BORDER. A TROPICAL STORM WARNING
REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THE ALABAMA-MISSISSIPPI BORDER TO
APALACHICOLA FLORIDA. THIS WARNING WILL LIKELY BE DISCONTINUED
LATER THIS AFTERNOON.

NEAR LATITUDE 32.6 NORTH...LONGITUDE 87.1 WEST OR ABOUT 45 MILES
WEST-NORTHWEST OF MONTGOMERY ALABAMA.
IVAN IS NOW MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 14 MPH. A
GRADUAL TURN TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AND A DECREASE IN FORWARD SPEED
ARE EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS. THIS MOTION SHOULD BRING
THE CENTER ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO
NORTHEASTERN ALABAMA TONIGHT.
