SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 1000 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA. UPPER-LEVEL CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT AROUND 15 MPH. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. 2.
