FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM IGNACIO...LOCATED ABOUT 905 MILES WEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF
BAJA CALIFORNIA.

1. A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER IS LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES
SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHWESTERN COAST OF MEXICO.  CONDITIONS APPEAR
FAVORABLE FOR GRADUAL DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM DURING THE NEXT
COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES GENERALLY WEST-NORTHWESTWARD.  THERE
IS A LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A
TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

2. A WESTWARD MOVING TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES SOUTH
OF THE COAST OF GUATEMALA IS PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.  SOME SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE
DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.  THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30
PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.  

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
