A BROAD TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE CONTINUES TO PRODUCE DISORGANIZED SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ALONG THE COAST OF MEXICO BETWEEN MANZANILLO AND PUERTO ESCONDIDO...EXTENDING SOUTHWARD OVER THE PACIFIC OCEAN FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES. ALTHOUGH SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT IS BECOMING LESS LIKELY...THERE IS STILL A LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30 PERCENT...THAT THIS SYSTEM COULD BECOME A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ALONG PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHWESTERN COAST OF MEXICO AS THIS SYSTEM MOVES VERY LITTLE OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO.
