THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL DEPRESSION EIGHT-E...LOCATED ABOUT 185 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA. 1. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE CONTINUED TO BECOME BETTER ORGANIZED IN ASSOCIATION WITH AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 150 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF THE GULF OF TEHUANTEPEC. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT...AND A TROPICAL DEPRESSION COULD FORM DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS THIS SYSTEM BEGINS TO MOVE SLOWLY WESTWARD.
