ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1100 PM PDT SAT JUL 16 2011 FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE.. 1. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM NEAR THE PACIFIC COAST OF COSTA RICA IS PRODUCING SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AMERICA AND THE ADJACENT PACIFIC WATERS. THIS SYSTEM HAS CHANGED LITTLE IN ORGANIZATION DURING THE PAST SEVERAL HOURS. HOWEVER... SLOW DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 5 TO 10 MPH. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE... 20 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE OVER MUCH OF CENTRAL AMERICA DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS IN ASSOCIATION WITH THIS LARGE DISTURBANCE.
