THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM FERNANDA...LOCATED ABOUT 1400 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF SOUTH
POINT HAWAII.  THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ALSO ISSUING
ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL DEPRESSION SEVEN-E...LOCATED ABOUT 145 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF ACAPULCO MEXICO.

1. A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 700 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST
OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA IS MOVING SLOWLY
WEST-NORTHWESTWARD.  SHOWER ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS LOW IS
MINIMAL...AND UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE FORECAST TO REMAIN UNFAVORABLE
FOR SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...10
PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
