FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM GREG...LOCATED ABOUT 510 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN
TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA.

1. A BROAD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LOCATED ABOUT 350 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST
OF ACAPULCO MEXICO IS PRODUCING AN EXTENSIVE AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND
SHOWERS. SOME GRADUAL DEVELOPMENT OF THIS LARGE DISTURBANCE IS
POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS IT MOVES TOWARD THE WEST-
NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 MPH. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...20
PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
