THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON RECENTLY-UPGRADED TROPICAL STORM JOVA...LOCATED ABOUT 495 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF MANZANILLO MEXICO...AND ON TROPICAL STORM IRWIN...LOCATED ABOUT 875 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA. 1. AN AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER HAS FORMED A FEW HUNDRED MILES SOUTH OF THE GULF OF TEHUANTEPEC. SLOW DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS THE SYSTEM DRIFTS WEST-NORTHWESTWARD.
