THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE ILEANA...LOCATED ABOUT 320 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA MEXICO. 1. A LARGE AREA OF DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDS FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES OFFSHORE OF THE COAST OF SOUTHERN MEXICO AND CENTRAL AMERICA.
