ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 500 AM PDT FRI SEP 14 2012 FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE.. THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL STORM KRISTY...LOCATED ABOUT 105 MILES NORTHWEST OF SOCORRO ISLAND MEXICO. 1. SATELLITE DATA INDICATE THAT THE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER ASSOCIATED WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ABOUT 900 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA HAS NOT BECOME ANY BETTER ORGANIZED SINCE YESTERDAY. HOWEVER...ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO BECOME A LITTLE MORE CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS THE LOW MOVES SLOWLY WESTWARD. THIS SYSTEM HAS A MEDIUM CHANCE...50 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. 2. CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 1700 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA HAVE DIMINISHED THIS MORNING. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME LESS CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THIS LOW IS MOVING SLOWLY WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AND HAS A LOW CHANCE...20 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
