FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
DEPRESSION RAYMOND...LOCATED SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST
OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF THE BAJA CALIFORNIA PENINSULA.

1. A LARGE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER IS LOCATED A FEW HUNDRED MILES
SOUTH OF THE COAST OF SOUTHERN MEXICO.  UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THIS
DISTURBANCE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS WHILE IT MOVES GENERALLY
NORTHWESTWARD AT 5 TO 10 MPH.  THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...
20 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48
HOURS...AND A HIGH CHANCE...60 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL
CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 5 DAYS.
