For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue in association with
a weak area of low pressure located about 400 miles southwest of
Manzanillo, Mexico. Upper-level winds are unfavorable for tropical
cyclone formation, and development of this system is becoming
unlikely while it moves generally northward at around 10 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
