For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. South of Southwestern Mexico:
An area of low pressure is expected to form several hundred miles 
south of the southwestern coast of Mexico in the early to middle 
parts of next week.  Thereafter, some gradual development is 
possible as the system moves generally north-northwestward.
