For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
1. Southwest of Southwestern Mexico (EP93):
An area of low pressure located several hundred miles south of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing
intermittent showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions
appear marginally conducive for development, and an increase in
shower and thunderstorm activity could result in the formation of a
tropical depression. The low is expected to move slowly eastward
over the next few days.
