TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 PM EDT SAT AUG 2 2014 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Bertha, located near the eastern Dominican Republic. 1. Disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity located over the Bahamas is associated with a surface trough. Any development of this system is expected to be limited tonight and Sunday as it moves generally northward at around 10 mph.
