TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 200 PM EDT WED OCT 1 2014 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: 1. A non-tropical gale located about 375 miles south-southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia, is producing shower and thunderstorm activity northeast of the center. Environmental conditions are expected to remain unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation while this system interacts with an upper-level low and a surface front during the next couple of days.
