Disorganized showers and thunderstorms extending from the northwestern Caribbean Sea to Belize and the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico are primarily associated with an upper-level trough. This activity is expected to move northwestward into the southwestern Gulf of Mexico by late Sunday.
