A broad non-tropical low pressure system could form several hundred miles southwest of the Azores early next week. The system could gradually obtain some subtropical characteristics thereafter as it moves slowly northeastward over the northeastern Atlantic Ocean. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
