TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 200 AM EDT MON JUL 21 2014 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: 1. A broad area of low pressure located about 1000 miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Development, if any, of this system should be slow to occur over the next couple of days while it moves to the west or west-northwest at 15 to 20 mph.
