For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:

1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with a trough of low pressure
located about 1100 miles southwest of Oahu have remained
disorganized over the past 24 hours. Some subsequent development of
the system is possible as it moves west northwestward at around 10
mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days.
