For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
1. An area of disturbed weather located about 2000 miles
east-southeast of Hawaii continues to produce disorganized showers
and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are generally
conducive for additional development. This system could move
into the Central Pacific late this weekend or early next week and
could become a tropical depression this weekend or early next week
before it reaches cooler waters while moving westward to
west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent.
Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5 days.
