For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Odile, located near the east-central coast of the Baja
California peninsula, and on Tropical Storm Polo, located a few
hundred miles south of Acapulco, Mexico.

1. Cloudiness and showers associated with a small area of low pressure
located about 1150 miles east-southeast of the Big Island of Hawaii
have changed little in organization during the past few hours. Any
development of this system is expected to be slow to occur over the
next several days while it moves slowly west-northwestward or
northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.

WTPZ32 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP2. Forecast/Advisories on
