TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 500 PM PDT SAT NOV 1 2014 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Vance, located several hundred miles south of Manzanillo, Mexico. 1. An area of low pressure located about 1250 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing limited showers and thunderstorms. Although upper-level winds are forecast to be marginally conducive for the next couple of days, dry air in the vicinity of the system should limit significant development while it moves toward the west at about 10 mph.
