TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1000 AM PST SUN NOV 9 2014 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: 1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue mainly to the south of a weak area of low pressure located about 500 miles south- southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Environmental conditions are expected to gradually become more unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation while the system moves slowly northward and then northeastward during the next couple of days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
