ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1100 PM PDT SUN AUG 23 2015 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: 1. Showers and thunderstorms are showing signs of organization in association with a low pressure area located about 1500 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual development, and a tropical depression is likely to form within a few days while the low moves west-northwestward at 10 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent 2. Disorganized shower activity located several hundred miles south of the coast of southwestern Mexico are associated with a tropical wave.
