ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 1100 PM PDT THU SEP 24 2015 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: 1. A broad area of low pressure located south of the Guatemala-Mexico border is producing disorganized cloudiness and shower activity. Any development of this system is expected to be limited while it drifts northwestward during the next few days due to possible interaction with land and its proximity to a developing disturbance located to its west. Regardless of tropical cyclone development, this system could produce heavy rainfall over portions of El Salvador, southern Guatemala, and southeastern Mexico during the next few days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent 2. A low pressure system is expected to form during the next day or two near a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms located several hundred miles southwest of the Gulf of Tehuantepec. This low is likely to develop into a tropical depression by early next week and move northward or northeastward toward the southern coast of Mexico.
