A weak low pressure system located about 500 miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continues to produce an area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Strong upper-level winds should limit development of this system while it moves slowly northeastward during the next day or two. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent 2. Another weak area of low pressure is producing a few showers and thunderstorms about 800 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.
