For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An elongated area of low pressure located about 1300 miles west-
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is
producing a large area of disorganized cloudiness and shower
activity. Upper-level winds are expected to be only marginally
conducive for slow development of this system during the next few
days while it moves slowly westward to west-northwestward.
