ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 500 AM PDT MON JUL 11 2016 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Celia, located more than 1000 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. 1. Satellite images indicate that the area of low pressure located about 350 miles south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, has become better defined this morning. Associated shower and thunderstorm activity is showing some signs of organization, and a tropical depression is likely to form during the next day or two while the low moves west-northwestward at about 10 mph, away from the coast of Mexico. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent 2. An area of low pressure is expected to form several hundred miles south of the coast of Mexico later this week.
