For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Darby, located over 1300 miles west of the southern tip of the Baja
California peninsula, and on Tropical Storm Estelle, located nearly
500 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California
peninsula.
1. A low pressure area is expected to form well south of the Gulf
of Tehuantepec in a couple of days in association with a tropical
wave that is currently located over the far eastern Pacific.
Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for gradual
development of the low, and a tropical depression could form by late
this week while it moves west-northwestward at about 10 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent
2. A trough of low pressure located several hundred miles
south-southwest of Acapulco, Mexico, is producing disorganized
shower activity. Some slow development of this system is possible
later this week while it moves westward at about 10 mph.
