For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An elongated area of disturbed weather extends a few hundred miles
south of the coast of Central America and southern Mexico.
Development of this system is not expected during the next few
days, but environmental conditions could become somewhat more
favorable this weekend while the disturbance moves westward to
west-northwestward.
