For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An area of disturbed weather has developed over the Gulf of
Tehuantepec during the past 12 hours. Some slow development of this
system will be possible during the next few days, if it remains
offshore, while the disturbance moves slowly west-northwestward to
northwestward.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
