For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A broad area of low pressure is located several hundred miles south
of the southern coast of Mexico.  Although this system is currently
producing little shower activity, environmental conditions could be
conducive for gradual development of the disturbance during the next
several days while it moves slowly westward or northwestward.
