For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. A trough of low pressure located a few hundred miles south of the
southern coast of Mexico continues to produce disorganized showers
and thunderstorms.  Some slow development of this system is possible
during the next few days while it moves slowly northeastward.
Regardless of development, this system will likely bring areas of
heavy rain to southern Mexico and portions of Central America
throughout this week and into the weekend.
