For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

Active Systems:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical 
Storm Kay, located just off the northern Baja California peninsula.

1. South of the Gulf of Tehuantepec:
An area of low pressure could form south or southwest of the Gulf of 
Tehuantepec by the middle of next week. Environmental conditions are 
expected to be conducive for some gradual development thereafter 
while the system moves slowly westward near the coast of southern 
and southwestern Mexico.
