ZCZC MIATWOEP ALL TTAA00 KNHC DDHHMM Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Sat Oct 8 2022 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Atlantic basin Hurricane Julia, currently located near the coast of Nicaragua in the southwestern Caribbean Sea. The system is forecast to cross Central America and move into the east Pacific basin, as a tropical cyclone, by Sunday night. 1. Off the coast of Central America and Southern Mexico: After Hurricane Julia emerges into the east Pacific on Sunday night, it is forecast to dissipate near the southern coast of Central America by early Tuesday. Environmental conditions could favor some development of the remaining larger-scale disturbance as it moves westward, south of southern Mexico, by the middle of next week. This scenario is contingent on Julia dissipating as a tropical cyclone.
