- 1 September 2015: Projects begin.
- 31 March 2016: Mid-year one progress report due.
- March 2016: Present project’s progress at the Interdepartmental Hurricane Forum and meet with NHC points of contact.
- 4 April 2016: Renewal proposal due.
- 1 June 2016: PIs make preparations for and begin real-time testing and evaluation during 2016 hurricane season.
- 30 September 2016: Annual report due (Year 1).
- September 2016: Second year of funded activity for renewed projects begins.
- 31 March 2017: Mid-year two report projects due.
- March 2017: Present project’s progress at the Interdepartmental Hurricane Forum.
- 1 June 2017: PIs make preparations for and begin real-time testing and evaluation during 2017 hurricane season.
- 30 September 2017: Final reports due.
- December 2017: Decision on operational implementation of the all projects by the NHC Director.
