Synopsis for the E Pacific within 250 nm of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge extending southward across the Gulf 
of America and eastern Mexico has induced gale-force N gap winds
over the Gulf of Tehuantepec tonight that will persist into Wed 
morning. Wind will diminish across the Gulf Wed afternoon through
Thu before the gap winds end Thu night. A surface ridge W of 
Baja Sur will support the development of fresh to strong SW gap 
winds over the northern Gulf of California overnight, which are 
forecast to reach minimal gale-force Wed evening and night, and
pulse again Thu night to near gale-force, as high pressure 
briefly builds over northwestern Mexico. Elsewhere, winds across
the Mexican Offshore zones will be moderate or weaker, except 
for pulsing NW fresh winds off Baja California Sur.
